Leaving on a JetCar

I am using a primitive dial-up connection in order to connect to the internet. My cable modem connection was not working for the last few days – so frustrated I returned the modem this Wednesday. All my bags are packed and in place, all the reservations on the way booked and confirmed, last minute formalities are over – so I am all set to leave Bay Area. It is kind of sinking in right now that I will be leaving this place for good. Tomorrow is my last day at work – an exit interview to attend and a farewell lunch before I say good bye to my old pals. For me, the sorrow is more about relationships and camaraderie than anything else.

At last what I had planned so religiously for the last 2 years is turning into reality.

Our trip plan is in place – we kind of modified it and decided to stay at Yellowstone and Rocky Mountains an extra day in order to enjoy more the serenity of nature. I hope the journey will not be so hectic for the first 5 days; we will be covering majority of the distance in the last 2 days averaging 9 hours a day. I doubt whether I will have any internet connection or not – so no blogging until next weekend.

I will be back with pics and tales from my voyage.
