Interview Preps

My interview preps are in full swing. It is like revisiting the MBA application process, re-writing and re-thinking the stories and heck I thought I have got rid of it. 4 hours of flight time was a good time to reflect and re-chalk my “I am a super-star” anecdotes. But, like the application process, I have a sense that this is a crap-shoot too. Well, it all boils down to those 2-3 days and your fate is decided. But I am not getting too much worried about it. I am more excited since this is the fruit of all the pain we went through a year back. The employment numbers are really looking good and next year may be better. Today’s OCD session was a therapy session for us – 15 internship offers maps to 40 full-time offers, hence no need to panic if you don’t get an offer from the firm of your choice. Also, it seems that one of the most commonly committed mistake is breaking the relationship with the firm once you don’t get an offer – think where the rest 25 of the 40 comes from.

And Congratulations to all the Round 1 Michigan Admits. Go Blue.
